국문 초록

영남지역 삼한시대 주거지의 변천과 지역성을 살펴보기 위해 주거지 구조의 속성 중 시간성과 공간성을 잘 나타내는 평면형태, 노시설, 기둥형태를 중심으로 주거지 유형을 설정했다. 설정한 주거지 유형은 각 시기별 문화변동에 따라 다양하게 전개되어 감을 알 수 있었다. 삼한 전기는 새로운 주거문화가 출현하는 단계로 이주민들이 새로운 환경으로 이주하여 정착해 나가는 과정을 잘 보여 준다. 확인되는 주거지 형태는 청동기시대 주거지처럼 정형화된 패턴을 띄지 않고 기존 재지 주거문화의 전통을 유지하거나 원ㆍ방형의 소형수혈유구 또는 부정형하게 바닥 일부만 남아 있는 일시주거의 형태를 띠고 있다. 삼한 후기는 와질토기문화의 출현과 확산으로 주거문화가 변화ㆍ발전하는 시기이다. 삼한 후기 전반에는 영남 전역에 원형의 부뚜막식 주거지가 출현하고, 삼한 후기 후반에 이르면 방형의 온돌식 주거지가 동남해안을 중심으로 출현하여 발전해 나간다. 삼한 말기에는 새로운 문화의 변동과 함께 각 지역마다 주거문화의 지역성이 나타나는 시기이다. 단계별 주거문화의 특징으로 유형별 분포양상을 살펴 본 결과 크게 3개의 지역권으로 나누어짐을 알 수 있었다. 지역권은 경산-포항-경주-부산을 잇는 동남부지역권, 거창-함양-진주-산청을 잇는 서부내륙지역권, 고성-진해-사천을 잇는 남해안지역권으로 각각 설정하였다. 각 지역권 별 주거지 유형을 살펴본 결과 동남부지역권은 대체로 와질토기문화의 수용에 따라 다양한 주거문화가 등장하고 전개되어 나감을 알 수 있었다. 반면에 와질토기문화의 파급이 상대적으로 미약했던 서부내륙지역권은 주거지의 변화와 발전 속도가 다소 지체적이며, 기존 재지 주거문화의 전통이 강함을 알 수 있었다. 그리고 남해안지역권은 해안이라는 지리적 이점 때문에 타 지역의 다양한 주거문화 요소가 나타나고 있었다.

영문 초록

In order to examine changes of dwelling plans in Youngnam area during the Samhan Period over time and their regional differentiation, types of dwelling plans have been proposed on the basis of dwelling plan, fire place, post holes and so on. This examination reveals that the proposed types of dwelling places had been varied diversely as time passed. The archaeological evidences of the first half of the Samhan period(三韓前期) vividly showed the emergence of a new dwelling culture and how the new arrivals had settled down while having adapted to new environments. Unlike the dwelling places of the Bronze Age, the dwelling places of the Samhan Period in Youngnam area do not have a regular pattern. But they had maintained indigenous dwelling traditions. And the plans of dwelling places of this period are round or square. They are sometimes a small pit. They have survived partially. So they are sometimes considered to be occupied temporarily. The second half of the Samhan period(三韓後期)w itnessed the development of dwelling culture as well as the appearance of Wajil pottery culture(瓦質土器文化)and its spread. The early second half of the Samhan period saw the appearance of the dwellings with kitchen ranges(부뚜막식주거지)i n all parts of Youngnam area. The late second half of the Samhan period witnessed the appearance of the dwellings with floor heating facilities called Ondol and their spread in Eastern and Southern Coastal Areas. During the end of the Samhan period the regional characteristics of the dwelling culture in each region appeared along with new cultural changes. The distributional features of each dwelling type over time reveal three regional groups; the south-eastern region ranging Gyeongsan-Pohang-Gyeongju-Busan areas, the western inland region ranging Geochang-Hamyang-Jinju-Sancheong areas, and the southern coastal region ranging Goseong-Jinhae-Sacheon areas. The examination of the dwelling types in each region reveals regional variations in dwelling culture. In the south-eastern region the diverse dwelling culture had been appeared and spread upon the adoption of Wajil pottery culture. Instead changes in the dwelling culture and its developmental speed is a little bit steady or slow in the western inland region where the spread of the Wajil pottery culture is relatively weak. And in the southern coastal region diverse dwelling elements from other regions have been discovered, which might be a result of interaction based on the geographical and trading advantages as a coastal region.
