‘-더-’의 주관성과 주관화에 대한 인지적 접근

국문 초록

이 글은 ‘-더라’를 중심으로, 서술문에 쓰인 ‘-더-’의 주관성과 주관화를 ‘무대 모형’으로 설명하였다. ‘-더-’는 화자의 과거 경험을 전제로 하는 과거 관련 시제 형태이다. 이것은 ‘-더-’가 쓰인 문장이 반드시 화자를 참조 기준으로 삼아야 한다는 자기중심적 관찰 배열의 반영으로 상대적인 주관성을 띠고 있다는 것을 말해 준다. 그러나 이때 참조 기준의 역할을 하는 화자는 문장에 명시적으로 나타나는 것이 아니라 최대 지각 범위인 개념적 내용 안에 묵시적으로 존재하고 있다. 개념적 내용에 묵시적으로 존재하는 화자가 비동일 주어 제약의 해소와 동일 주어 제약을 통하여 일인칭 주어로서 문장에 명시적으로 나타나게 되는 것은 관찰의 주체가 지각 관계에서 관찰의 대상 역할을 동시에 수행하는 극단적인 자기중심적 관찰 배열의 반영이다. 이것은 ‘-더-’가 쓰인 문장이 최대의 주관성을 가지는 것에 해당된다. 요컨대 ‘-더라’의 비동일 주어 제약의 해소와 동일 주어 제약에 의한 주관성의 증가를 ‘-더-’의 주관화로 볼 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

This article describes subjectivity reflected in the meaning of the retrospective tense deo which has restriction on subjective person as the stage model. The stage model reflects perceptual relationship between speaker and focus which are subject and object of observation. Optimal viewing arrangement which speaker is separated completely from the focus is an ideal situation in perceptual relationship. Hence, in most cases, speaker as a reference point with relatively objective observes the object of observation with relative subjectivity, called egocentric viewing arrangement in perception relationship. It is corresponds to the subjectivity of language. Deo which reflects egocentric viewing arrangement is a tense associated with the speaker’s past experience as a reference point, and so the sentence in which deo is used has relatively subjective. Though the speaker does not appear explicitly in the sentence, exists implicitly with relative objectivity in conceptual contents as maximal scope of perception. When speaker with maximal subjectivity becomes subject and object of observation, and it appears explicitly as I in the sentence in which deo is used, it is a result of increasing in subjectivity namely subjectification of deo.
