국문 초록

본 연구는 한 공동육아협동조합원들의 공동육아 경험을 통해서 우리 사회에서 ‘아이 함께 키우기’라는 사회적 육아의 의미를 드러내고자 하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 위와 같은 연구목적을 위해 이 연구는 17년째 공동육아조합의 형태로 기관을 운영해 온 경기도의 한 공동육아조합을 연구 현장으로 선정하였으며 적극적인 참여 의사를 밝힌 부모조합원 4인과 교사조합원 2인을 연구참여자로 선정하였다. 조합원들의 조합 활동과 유아들의 실내외 활동에 관한 참여관찰 자료와 현지자료, 참여자들과의 심층면담 등의 자료를 수집하였으며 모든 자료는 에믹 코딩(emic coding)하여 자료의 패턴을 파악하여 주제화하였다. 연구 결과, 참여자들이 경험하는 공동육아의 어려움은 비용, 참여, 책임, 관계의 부담과 불안정감, 비체계적인 의사결정과정 등이었으며, 이러한 어려움에도 불구하고 공동육아조합을 유지하는 이유는 ‘자녀를 위한 최고의 선택’, ‘공동체적 관계 형성’, ‘자기 성장의 장’, ‘아이 함께 키우기’, ‘나를 넘어서 우리를 생각하기’ 등을 경험하기 때문이었다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 사회적 육아의 의미를 ‘서로 둘러보기’, ‘다양성 인정하기’ ‘함께 살기’로 주제화하였다. 이 연구는 공동육아조합 내부의 목소리를 통해 사회적 자본으로서 공동육아가 가진 성격과 사회적 육아 모델로서 공동육아조합의 가능성과 한계를 드러내고, 우리 사회가 사회적 돌봄을 다양화할 방법과 유아교육기관의 다양화 확장 방법 등에 통찰을 제공하는데 기여할 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

This study is a qualitative research aimed at revealing the meaning of raising children together , that is, social parenting in our society through the experience of joint parenting by members of a co-parenting cooperative. For the purpose of the above study, this study uses a joint childcare cooperative in Gyeonggi-do, which has operated an institution in the form of a cooperative parenting cooperative for 17 years, with participation observation and in-depth interviews as the main research methods. Four parents and two teacher union members who volunteered to interview were selected as study participants. The collected data includes participatory observation data, local data, and in-depth interviews with participants regarding the union activities of the members, indoor and outdoor activities of the infants, and all the materials were subject to the subject by identifying patterns of the data by emic coding. As a result of this study, the difficulties of joint parenting experienced by participants were cost, participation, responsibility, relationship burden and instability, and an unstructured decision-making process. It was because they experienced the best choice, community relationship formation , the field of self-growth , raising children together , and thinking us beyond me . Through the results of these studies, this study has focused on the meaning of social parenting as look around each other , admit diversity and live together . This study reveals the characteristics of co-parenting as a social capital and the possibilities and limitations of the co-parenting as a social parenting model through the voices of the co-parenting, and how our society can diversify social care and diversify early childhood education institutions. It could contribute to providing insights, such as expansion methods.
