영문 초록

This paper analyse the possibility of development and formation on New Regionalism like East Asian FTA in East Asia. Especially We find that South Korea, China, Japan can lead to formation of East Asian FTA through reviews to backgrounds and states, characteristics on development of its FTA policy. According to this reviews, we research that new regionalism in East Asia appear upon stage of history because this countries enforced to promote to its FTA policy. That is South Korea, China, Japan can play a central role for formation of East Asian FTA. But in the present state of affairs regional cooperations and endeavors for East Asian FTA was faced up to break off because gaps of inspections on regional political, economic issues between this 3 countries (and ASEAN). In conclusion we find to break the ice at South Korea’s FTA policy for formation of East Asian FTA. That is to say Korea have to conclusion Korea-US FTA or Korea- EU FTA and so on preferentially. And because this FTAs give chance South Korea to make restructuring in agriculture, South Korea will have enhanced competitive power in agriculture area by this chance. This means provability of dispute and conflict is low when east asian countries(included South Korea, China, Japan) discuss and negotiate for multilateral regional trade agreement in future. Finally this Korea’s competitive power enforced in agriculture will have driven Korea-China FTA to conclude. And this conclusion of Korea-China FTA will have driven Japan to participate to Korea-China-Japan FTA because Japan not want to disadvantage to absence this RTA. East Asian FTA will have accomplished through this Korea-China-Japan FTA integrate ASEAN that will accomplish ASEAN economic community to 2015 again.
