인지진단혼합모형을 활용한 잠재집단의 선별 및 진단

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 인지진단혼합모형을 개발하고 제안된 모형의 적용가능성을 확인하는 것이다. 진단평가의 유용성이 확인되면서 그에 따라 인지진단모형의 활용과 관련 연구 또한 증가하고 있다. 그러나 검사 문항을 해결하기 위해 복수의 문제해결 전략이 존재하거나 이질적인 피험자 집단이 존재할 경우 단일한 인지진단모형의 적용은 적절하지 않다. 그런데 진단 결과에 차이를 나타내는 피험자 집단은 관찰이 불가능하거나 잘 드러나지 않는 잠재적 속성일 수 있다. 이렇게 인지진단모형 분석이 잠재집단에 따라 달라질 수 있다면 인지진단모형에 잠재집단분석 모형을 결합한 인지진단혼합모형을 사용함으로써 단계별 분석의 어려움을 해소하고 분석의 정확도를 높일 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 인지진단혼합모형을 제안하고 잠재집단 간 비율, 문항 수, 문항 변별지수를 실험 조건으로 하는 모의실험을 통해 조건 간 정확도를 비교하였다. 그 결과 대체로 문항 변별지수가 높을수록 좋은 결과를 보였다. 문항 수의 증가는 결과를 향상시키는 경우와 그렇지 않은 경우가 혼재하였다. 잠재집단 간 비율은 기준에 따라 상반된 결과를 보였다. 연구 결과의 의의, 제안된 모형의 활용 방안, 연구의 제한점과 후속 연구에 대해서도 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to propose a cognitive diagnosis mixture model and to verify its applicability. As the usefulness of diagnostic assessment has been confirmed, the use of a cognitive diagnosis model and related studies are increasing. However, the application of a single cognitive diagnosis model may not be appropriate when there are multiple problem-solving strategies or heterogeneous groups exist. The group membership of examinees with differences in diagnostic results may be a potential unobservable attribute. If the cognitive diagnosis model should be different according to the potential group, a cognitive diagnosis mixture model combining a cognitive diagnosis model with the latent class model can solve the difficulty of a step-by-step analysis and improve the accuracy of the analysis. In this study, a cognitive diagnosis mixture model was proposed, and the accuracy of its performance was compared under the conditions of the ratio of latent classes, the number of items, and different item discrimination indices through a simulation study. As a result, the higher the item discrimination index, the better the results. Increasing the number of items produced inconsistent results. The proportions between the latent classes showed seemingly contradictory results. Implications of the findings, the applications of the proposed model, the limitations of the study, and follow-up studies were also discussed or proposed.
