국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 아프리카 카메룬의 글로벌 공급망 장애를 조사하여 외국인 투자기업의 운영에 미치는 영향을 분석하고, 카메룬에 필요한 국외 자본 및 외국 기업의 투자유치 등 경제 성장을 달성하기 위한 전략을 수립하는 것이다. 데이터를 분석하고 전략을 수립하기 위해 요인분석, 회귀 분석 및 중요도-성과 분석(IPA)으로 구성된 결합 접근 방식을 사용하였다. 요인분석으로 15개의 연구 변수를 분석하여 운영, 운송 및 네트워킹 구성 요소로 명명한 공통 요소를 추출하였다. 카메룬에서는 네트워킹요인의 심각성이 3.24로 가장 높았고, 운송요인이 2.97로 두 번째로, 운영요인이 평균 2.55로 가장 낮았다. 이 연구를 통하여 세 가지 공통 요인이 카메룬의 글로벌 공급 사슬에서 전체 문제의 77.9%를 설명할 수 있음을 확인하였다. 표준 회귀계수 분석 및 중요도-성과 분석으로 판단할 때 글로벌 공급 사슬 장애 중 네트워킹 구성 요소가 외국투자 회사들에 가장 긴급하며, 운송 요소는 상대적으로 덜 중요한 것으로 평가되었다. 따라서 카메룬 정부와 이해 당사자들은 네트워킹 구성 요소와 함께 운영 구성 요소를 개선하기 위한 실행 전략을 통하여 외국인 투자기업을 위한 비즈니스 친화적인 환경을 조성해야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the global supply chain barriers in Cameroon to analyze their impact on the operations of foreign-invested, and to establish strategies to achieve economic growth by attracting more overseas capital and foreign firms’ investment by the government and stakeholders. A hybrid methodological approach entailing Exploration Factor Analysis (EFA), regression analysis, and the modified Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) was used to analyze the data and establish strategies. In condensing the fifteen study variables by the exploratory factor analysis, common factors such as operating, shipping, and networking components were extracted. In Cameroon, the networking factor was the highest at 3.24, the shipping factor the second at 2.97, and the operating factor at 2.55 indicating the lowest average severity. This study confirmed that the three common factors can account for 77.9% of the overall problems in the global supply chain in Cameroon. It also confirmed that while networking component among the global supply chain obstacles are critical to foreign investment firms, the shipping factor is relatively less important when judging from the standard coefficients of regression analysis and the modified IPA technique. As such, immediate corrective actions to improve the operating and networking common factors should be undertaken by the Cameroonian government and stakeholders to create a thriving business friendly environment for foreign-invested companies.
