부모의 놀이신념과 아동의 놀이성이 아동의 사회적유능성에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 경기도 소재 어린이집에 재학중인 만 3세부터 만 5세까지의 아동 292명(남 151, 여141)을 대상으로 부모의 놀이신념과 아동의 놀이성이 아동의 사회적유능성에 미치는 영향력을 알아보고자 하였다. 인구사회학적 변인에 따라 변인간의 차이가 있는지 알아보기 위해 t-Test와 ANOVA 분석결과 아동의 성별과 부모와 동거여부는 요인간의 차이를 보이지 않았으며, 아동의 연령에 따라 부모의 놀이신념, 아동의 놀이성, 아동의 사회적유능성에 차이를 보였다. 부모의 놀이신념은 아동의 사회적유능성에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않았으며, 아동의 놀이성은 사회적 유능성에 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 부모의 놀이신념과 아동의 놀이성이 사회적유능성에 미치는 상대적 영향력을 분석한 결과 아동의 지도력에는 부모의 놀이신념과 아동의 놀이성의 하위요인 중 주도적참여, 발달적가치신념, 인지적융통성의 순으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 아동의 유능성에는 주도적참여, 인지적융통성의 순으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 아동의 과민성에는 부모의 놀이신념과 아동의 놀이성의 하위요인이 통계적으로 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났으며, 아동의 불안정성에는 즐거움의 표현만이 부적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과는 선행연구의 결과와 다소 차이를 보임에 따라 환경요인과 부모 및 아동의 심리정서적 변인 등 다른 변인을 고려한 후속연구가 필요하다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of parental play beliefs and children’s playfulness on children’s social competency in 292 children (male 151, female 141) aged 3 to 5 years old. The t-test and ANOVA analysis showed that there were no differences between the sexes of children and their parents. According to the age of the children, there were differences in the play beliefs of the parents, the playfulness of the children, and the social competence of the children. Parents’ play beliefs did not have a significant effect on children’s social competence, and children’s playfulness had a positive effect on social competence. As a result of analyzing the relative influence of parent’s play beliefs and children’s playfulness on social competence, children’s leadership was followed by parental play beliefs, developmental value beliefs, and cognitive flexibility. It was found to affect the competence of children in the order of leading participation and cognitive flexibility. Parental play beliefs and children’s playfulness subfactors did not statistically affect children’s hypersensitivity. As the results of this study are somewhat different from those of previous studies, follow-up studies that consider other variables such as environmental factors and psychological variables of parents and children are necessary.
