무용/동작치료 프로그램이 양육시설 지적장애 아동의 자아개념 및 자기표현에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 양육시설에 생활하고 있는 지적장애 아동을 대상으로 무용/동작치료를 진행하여 자아개념과 자기표현이 향상되는 정도에 대하여 알아가고자 하였다. 연구 대상은 B시 소재 A양육시설에서 생활하고 있는 초등학교 5학년 여학생이며, 전체 회기 진행은 25회기 60분을 진행하였다. 자아개념의 변화정도를 확인하기 위해 자아개념 척도지(정종진, 1996) 그리고 신체상 그리기를 통한 사전 사후 변화를 알아보았다. 자기표현의 변화정도는 Samuels과 Chaiklin의 동작관찰척도(Levy, 1988)를 활용하여 LMA(Laban Movement Analysis)요소 중 신체(Body), 에포트(Effort), 공간(Space) 그리고 음성적 자기표현은 Rokos 와 Schroeder(1979)의 자기표현 평정척도를 재구성한 변창진과 김성희(1980)의 자기표현 척도 중 음성적 척도의 관찰지를 만들어 영상분석을 하였다. 각각 관찰지는 1-5점까지 점수화가 되어있고, 연구자의 주관성을 배제하기 위해 연구자 외 1명의 무용/동작치료 전문가와 2명의 무용/동작치료사가 동시에 영상분석을 하였다. 연구자가 진행한 연구의 결과를 토대로 무용/동작치료를 진행하여 양육시설에서 생활을 하고 있는 지적장애 아동의 자아개념과 자기표현 정도에 영향을 줄 수 있다는 결론을 내었다. 따라서 본 연구는 양육시설 아동에게 무용/동작치료를 진행하여 나타낸 변화 정도에 대하여 의의가 있으며, 이것을 토대로 향 후 양육시설의 지적장애 아동을 대상으로 장기간 무용/동작치료프로그램의 개발과 연구가 이루어지면 좋을 것으로 보여지는 바이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to conduct the dance movement therapy targeting children diagnosed to be intellectually impaired in the nurture facility to confirm if the degree of the self-concept and self-expressivity was improved. The subjects were the 5th-grade female students who were at a nurture facility called A in B city. Total 25 sessions were carried out for the dance movement therapy and the progress time for a session was 60 minutes. In order to know the change of self-concept, the degree of the advance/post score change and the advance/post content change in the body image drawing were examined through self-concept criterion paper(Jung, 1996). In order to examine the change of self-expressivity, Body, Effort, and Space among LMA(Laban Movement Analysis) elements were analyzed in the manner of image by means of the movement observation criterion(Levy, 1988) by Samuels and Chaiklin. When it comes to the phonetic self-expressivity, the phonetic criterion among self-expressivity criteria by Choi(2000), which reconstructed self-expressivity criterion by Rokos and Schroeder(1979) in accordance with our cultural background was analyzed in the manner of image by making the observation paper. Each one was divided by 5-score criterion to make score from 1 to 5 and the image analysis was conducted simultaneously with 1 academy registrated dance therapist and 2 registrated dance therapists besides the researcher for the objectivity. By aggregating these conclusions, it was revealed that the dance movement therapy could influence self-concept and the degree of self-expression of the intellectually disabled children in the nurture facility. This study approached to the nurture facility children by the dance movement therapy and this study is significant in having proved its change degree. It would be good if the development and research of the dance movement therapy program are conducted steadily for a long time targeting the intellectually disabled children in the nurture facility on the basis of this study.
