Romey 분석법을 활용한 2015 개정 실과 교과서 ‘생활 안전사고의 예방’ 단원의 탐구 경향 분석

국문 초록

이 연구는 Romey의 교과서 내용 분석 방법을 2015 개정 실과 교육과정에 따라 개발된 5학년 실과 교과서 6종의 ‘생활 안전사고의 예방’ 단원의 탐구적 경향성을 분석하는 것에 목적을 둔다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 본문의 Romey 지수를 산출했을 때 6종 중 3종은 탐구적 교과서, 3종은 학생의 참여가 부분적으로 이루어지는 권위적인 교과서로 나타났다. 자료 항목 의 경우 5종의 교과서가 학생의 참여가 부분적으로 이루어지는 권위적인 교과서로 볼 수 있다. 나머지 1종 교과서는 Romey 지수의 범위가 T>1.5로, 탐구적 경향이 지나쳐 학습에 대한 자료가 부족한 경우로 볼 수 있다. 활동 항목의 경우 6종의 교과서 모두 탐구적 경향이 지나 쳐 학습에 대한 자료가 부족한 것으로 나타났다(T>1.5). 평가 항목의 경우 A, B, C, E 교과서는 탐구적 경향이 지나치며, D, F 교과서는 학생의 참여가 부분적으로 이루어지는 권위적인 교과서로 분석되었다. 연구 결과를 종합하면 2015 개정 교육과정에 따라 제작된 실과 교과서 ‘생활 안전사고의 예방’ 단원의 경우 권위적인 경향과 탐구적인 경향을 모두 지향하고 있으나, 4가지 분류 항목에 따라 차이가 있었다. 특히 본문과 자료 항목은 권위적이며, 활동, 평가는 지나치게 탐구적인 것으로 나타나 4가지 분석 항목 모두에서 탐구적인 경향이 적절하게 배분 될 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

The aim of this study is to analyze the content of Prevention of Life Safety Accident unit in the 5th grade textbooks in the 2015 revised Practical Arts curriculum, using the Romey Technique. The results are as follows. First of all, three of the six textbooks included the inquisitive tendency when the Romey index of the text was calculated, while the remaining three textbooks appeared as authoritative tendency though the participation of students may be done partially. Results from data items indicate that five textbooks showed authoritative textbooks in which students participate partially. For another textbook, Romey index range was T>1.5 and it could be understood that there is a lack of resources on learning due to over-inquisitive tendency. In the case of activity, all six textbooks showed the lack of resources on learning due to the over-inquisitive tendency(T>1.5). In the case of evaluation, A, B, C, and E textbooks included over inquisitive tendency, and D and F textbooks were analyzed as the authoritative textbooks with the partial participation of the students. The result of this analysis seems to show that the Practical Arts textbooks produced according to the 2015 revised Practical Arts curriculum have both authoritative and inquisitive tendencies but there are some differences according to four categories. In particular, texts and resources are authoritative while activities and evaluations appear to be overly inquisitive so that it is necessary to produce textbooks that enable students to develop their subject competency by making the inquisitive tendency reasonably distributed in all four categories of analysis.
