제4차 산업혁명 시대 ICT 고도화에 따른 윤리적 이슈의 변화

국문 초록

본 연구는 제4차 산업혁명 시대를 맞이하여 ICT가 고도화됨에 따라 나타날 윤리적 이슈의 변화를 고찰하기 위해 제4차 산업혁명이 가져오게 될 혁명적 특징 세 가지에 초점을 맞추어 윤리적 이슈를 탐색하였다. 첫째, 플랫폼 혁명으로 향후 생산 체계가 근본적으로 변화함으로써 발생되는 상황에서 나타나는 윤리적 이슈를 살펴보았다. 이를 스마트 팩토리가 구현된 상황에서 야기될수 있는 독창성, 자율성, 권한, 프라이버시 등과 같은 이슈를 다루었다. 둘째, 지능화 혁명으로 향후 판매 및 구매 형태가 변화함으로써 발생되는 상황에서 나타나는 윤리적 이슈를 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 아마존 고에서 겪게 되는 프라이버시 문제, 고객관계관리의 변화, 쇼핑에 대한 관점, 기술에 대한 수용성, 그리고 디지털 격차를 논의하였다. 셋째, 초연결 혁명으로 이동이라는 형태가 변화함으로써 나타날 수 있는 윤리적 이슈를 제기하였다. 무인자동차를 통해 신뢰성과 안정성에 대한 문제, 정보시스템의 우산 속에 살아가는 라이프 스타일, 그리고 인간과 사이버 공간과의 상호작용과 통제 등과 같은 이슈를 제기하였다. 제4차 산업혁명 시대를 앞두고 나타나게 될 변화의 방향 속에서 인간과 ICT가 공존 하기 위한 윤리적 이슈를 살펴봄으로써 향후 인간이 정보기술 영역 내에서 행복한 삶을 영위하기 위한 IT Happiness를 달성하기 위한 전반적인 지형을 제시할 것으로 기대된다.

영문 초록

The 4th Industrial Revolution raises some profound ethical issues about the kind of world we will live in. These new ICT powers hold great promise for enhancing quality of life in many ways. But, every technology is not neutral. Especially, the powers of the 4th industrial revolution certainly are not. This study focuses on three revolutionary features that the 4th Industrial Revolution will bring about. Accordingly, I should put as much emphasis on the following ethical issues as the ICT advances. First, platform revolution ― the ethical issues that arise from the fact that production system is fundamentally changed. I discussed issues such as creativity, autonomy, authority, and privacy that can arise in situations where smart factories are implemented. Second, intelligence revolution ― the ethical issues arising from changes in business patterns. I suggested issues such as privacy, retail experience changing, technology acceptance, changes in customer relationship management, and digital divide. Third, hyper-connection ― the ethical issues arising from changes in mobility. I described issues such as reliability and safety, lifestyle living in the umbrella of advanced information systems, and new HCI (Human Cyber Interaction). Indeed, it is important to examine ethical issues for the coexistence of human beings and ICT in the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution. This study presents the overall topography to achieve ICT happiness pursuing human happiness in information technology umbrella.
