초등학교 한글 해득 교육의 실태 분석 및 개선 방안 탐색 연구

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 2015 개정 교육과정에 따른 ‘한글책임교육 정책’과 관련하여 초등학교 1학년 교사들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 교과서와 관련 지원의 효과를 분석하고 그 개선 방향을 탐색하고자 하였다. 2015 개정 교육과정에 따른 초등학교 1학년 1학기 국어 교과서는 5개 단원을 한글 해득과 직접 관련되는 내용으로 구성하였으며, 초등학교 1학년 1학기 국어, 수학, 통합 교과서에서 제시되는 지문의 양을 전반적으로 줄이고 제시되는 한글의 난도를 낮추어 초등학교 입학 이후에 한글을 충실히 배우는 한편 교과 교육을 실행하는데 어려움을 느끼지 않도록 구성 하였다. 본 연구에서 한글책임교육 정책이 교육 현장에 처음으로 적용된 2018년도에 초등학교 담임을 맡은 346명의 초등학교 교사들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 기존의 교과서에 비하여 현재의 교과서가 한글 해득 교육 실시에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있으나 입학 초기 한글 미해득 학생의 비율과 수준을 고려할 때 한글 해득 교육이 더 강화되어야 한다는 시사점을 도출하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of textbooks and related support by conducting questionnaires on first grade elementary school teachers related to ‘Korean Responsibility Education Policy’ according to the 2015 revised curriculum. According to the 2015 revised curriculum, the Korean language textbook of the first semester of the first grade of elementary school consisted of five units directly related to the Korean language, and the amount of the fingerprints presented in the Korean language, mathematics, and integrated textbooks of the first grade of elementary school is generally reduced, which help the first graders to learn Korean language faithfully after entering elementary school. 346 elementary school teachers who took charge of elementary school in 2018, which was first applied to the education field in Korea, conducted a questionnaire survey. As a result, compared to previous textbooks, new textbooks are positive to learn Korean language. But it is suggested that the education of Korean language should be strengthened in consideration of the ratio and level of students who have not learned Hangul at the beginning of admission.
