영문 초록
A new FA interspecific hybrid lily “Eunbi” was released by the National Horticultural Research Institute (NHRI) in 2002. A cross was made between Lilium formolongi “Raizan”, a trumpet shaped and white petaled lily variety, and Lilium Asiatic hybrid “A95-14”, a red colored variety. The flower characteristics and performance of “Eunbi” were investigated from 2000 to 2002. The natural flowering time of “Eunbi” was in the middle of June, but can force to flower year-round by storing the bulb under −1 to −2℃ conditions. It has Asiatic lily shaped flower and light-orange petals with trace of sweet fragrance. The plant height is 103 cm. The width of flower is 12.5 cm. The length and width of leaf are 11 cm and 1.7 cm, respectively. The weight and size of bulb are 57.1 g and 18.6 cm, respectively. For forcing culture, it is necessary to add calcium to the fertilizer or remove side scales to prevent leaf scorch. Botrytis disease should be properly controlled especially in wet season.
