Prof. Ahn is known as a prominent scholar on the New Testament and one of the founders of the Minung Theology in Lorea. At the same time he is lay preacher who organized with the group of the active and consientized Christian the Hyangrin Christian community, which was trying to realize the Kingdom of God on earth. This Christian community understand itself as the avantgarde and partisan in realizing of peace and justice in this world. In this sense Ahn was not only theoretical theologian, but also a Christian activist to built a kind of the new Christian community. He was not content with the fossilized Christian dogmas and traditional church and her practice. His starting point is that the old understanding and practice on the church must be corrected by searching for the life and message of Jesus Christ which is descrived in the Bible. According to Ahn the church is not the selbstabgeschlosse(self-realized or fulfilled) organization or institution, but the community of the Christian avantgrade looking for the Kingdom of God on Earth, where the people are living in peace and justice. What it means by saying the selbstabgeschlosse arganization? First, the church as the self-realzed organization is that which is occupied not by life and message of Jesus Christ, but by the old dogmas and traditions, which were constituted by the long history of the church. Second, the church as the self-realized organization is that which is controlled totally by the patriachalm clerical hierarchy, which monopolizes the church-practices, that is holy sacraments, teaching and preaching, and church administration. In such a church the laity is not subjective, but the objective of the organization. As result of these historical development become the church not for the poor and oppressed, but the groups which are privileged groups in the society. According to Ahn this kind of the church is not the church of time, which is searching for the new heaven and earth in this world, but the
