다문화 영재교육 연구의 한 미 차이 비교

국문 초록

본 연구는 최근 15년간의 다문화 가정 영재교육과 관련한 한국과 미국의 연구 논문을 대상으로 다문화 영재교육에 대하여 비교 분석하였으며, 이를 통해 한국과 미국에서 연구된 다문화 영재교육 관련 논문들을 종합적으로 비교하고 이해하여 앞으로 한국의 다문화 영재교육 연구에 있어서 지향해야 할 연구의 방향성을 제시하는 데 목적이 있다. 2004년 부터 2018년까지 한국 10편, 미국 40편의 연구논문을 선정하였다. 연구주제, 연구대상과 방법, 연구출처와 연도로 범주를 분류하여 논문 분석을 진행하였다. 분류된 범주에 따라 분석한 결과 한국은 다문화 영재 특성에 관한 연구가 주를 이루었고, 미국은 다문화 영재 프로그램 및 모델에 관한 연구가 많이 진행되었다. 연구대상은 한국과 미국에서 모두 다문화 영재가 대상자인 연구가 가장 많이 이루어졌다. 연구방법에서 한국은 양적연구의 조사 연구, 미국은 문헌연구가 가장 많았다. 연구출처와 연도를 살펴보면, 한국에서는「영재교 육연구」에서 가장 많은 논문이 게재되었으며 미국에서는 JEG에 가장 많이 게재되었다. 한국은 2011년부터 연구가 처음으로 시작되었으나, 미국은 본 연구가 진행되기 시작한 2004년전부터 많은 연구가 계속 진행되었다. 본 연구의 결과를 중심으로 향후 국내에서 다문화 영재교육 연구방향에 관한 시사점을 제안한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to comparative analyze the trends in the korea and U.S multicultural gifted education in the last 15 years (2004-2018) by literature analysis methods. Research papers on multicultural gifted education from both Korea and U.S were analyzed according to the number of research which is done yearly, research topics, studied subject, research method. Through this study, we intend to derive implications as a basic study on the subject and direction of study for multicultural gifted education research in the future, comprehensively analyzing and understanding the papers related to multicultural gifted studied in Korea and U.S. The study selected a total of 10 papers by searching under the keywords of Multicultural gifted and multicultural gifted education. In order to collect research papers from U.S journals, we searched them. We selected 40 papers in SAGE journal. As a result of analysis, In Korea, many papers were published in Gifted Education Research, and in the United States, JEG was the most published. In research method, the literature research method was mainly used in the United States and quantitative research method was mainly used in the Korea. As the result of study by objective research, While studies on multicultural gifted student characteristic was mainly conducted in Korea, studies on gifted program and model were conducted in the United States. It can be seen that the scope and breadth of research subjects are more specific and diverse than in Korea. In conclusion, research on multicultural gifted in Korea should be made from diverse perspectives on a broader range of subjects and research subjects.
