영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to designing the sustainable ecosystem master-plan of the estuary area of Geumgang-River based on a landscape ecological analysis. Seoungsan-myeon and Napo-myeon of Gunsan city in Jeollabukdo proivince are the target areas of the research with the 1km buffer from the river. The results are as follows: First, Baikal Teal was selected as the target species of the study area. Second, through the landscape ecological analysis based on the UNESCO MAB program, the study area was divided into 3 criteria of conservation, restoration and experience & Usage regions. Main strategies and projects for theses 3 areas were set and suggested respectively. The Conservation region is ecologically important and long term ecological research is needed and the biodiversity contract and landscape farming were suggested. In case of the restoration region, habitat rehabilitation and expansion is needed and biotope creation projects were proposed to fragmented and devastated habitats. The experience & usage region contains pre-developed area and can be developed to ecotourism places, and creation of eco-villages and wetland parks were suggested.
