This study deals with the process for the finding out and application of the concept required to compose the healing space hierarchy in planning a forest healing village. The concept was extracted from 『Taohuayuanji(桃花源記)』 which is the protocol of the site of case study, Hyangdowon, and the composition of 『Mongyoudowondo(夢遊桃源圖)』 painting which incarnates this concept as a painting, was applied on composing the healing space hierarchy. The meaning of Shangri-la(the Earthly Paradise, or a peach blossom land) described in 『Taohuayuanji』 by TaoYuanMing(陶淵明) is a fairyland, a eternal life or immortality, and a oriental utopia, Paradise. This place is called an Arcadia, and 『Mongyoudowondo』 is a fine art which paints this Arcadia in space. This painting is composed in three parts, real world, middle area, ideal world, and it is strikingly similar to the construction of the site of case study. The final world of human beings is a village of the longevity without disease as the ideal world, this is called a place for‘enjoying a wandering’(xiaoyaoyou) meaning the state of the absolute freedom in Daoism. Overlapping the composition of 『Mongyudowondo』 painting with the study site is necessary and useful for composing the healing spaces in the forest healing village. The forest healing village has 5 areas, the healing service area and the water park area in the real world district, the hydro-therapy district and the pine tree healing area in the middle district, and the Shangri-la area in the ideal world district. The each area is conceptualized to enjoy in 5 senses experience. The Shangri-la area is divided in the first Shangri-la for the original village area, and the second Shangri-la for the rock cave. These two Shangri-la are connected with the forest trail called Dr. Wald. The Dr. Wald forest trail goes through forests and along this trail people enter into the rock cave in speculation and meditation. The rock cave area is the Deep Shangri-la, and the most silent place, and at this place in storytelling about the rock cave man can be immersed in the spiritual healing stage which is the final healing stage. It is expected to contribute to solving the composition of the healing spaces and establishing the healing activities.
