영문 초록

In this study, it was compared and analyzed that recognition and preference of unity expression methods of wedding flower design by asking both experts and non-experts. The result indicated that 87% of experts (68 respondents) have the recognition of unity expression methods, while 42% non-expert group (33 respondents) showing for the concept. In the recognition of the importance of unity in wedding flower design, the expert group is higher than the ordinary one. From the result of preference of wedding flower design using unity expression methods, flower decorators and ordinary people selected wedding flower design with the methods. 113 (72%) of the total respondents choosed the wedding flower design, where the unity of objet was realized, while 28% (44 respondents) not selecting of it and for the reasons of it, 50 respondents (44%) thought the unity of objet contributes to an overall sense of unity of flower design and 48 respondents (42%) thought that is luxurious and refined and 13 (12%) for its unique and romantic and 2 (2%) for its popular style, respectively. 143 (91%) of respondents selected flower design with color unity and 14 respondents (9%) did not select because that is luxurious and refined (90 respondents, 63%), overall sense of unity(33 responts 23%), unique and romantic (17 respondents 12%) and popular style (3 respondents, 2%), respectively. 130 (83%) of the total respondents choosed pictures having unity of flower materials and 27 respondents (17%) did not select, which means many prefer a harmonious unity between those and overall design and the reason was its overall sense of unity (63 respondents, 49%), unique and romantic (33 respondents, 26%) and luxurious and refined(29 respondents, 22%) and popular style(4 respondents, 3%), respectively. In the survey of preference of unity of forms, 139(89%) of the total respondents selected flower design with unity of forms and 18 respondents(11%) did not select and the reason was that is luxurious and refined(84 respondents, 61%), an overall sense of unity(37 respondents, 27%), unique and romantic(16 respondents, 12%) and popular style(1 respondent, 1%), respectively. It is revealed in the study that unity expression methods in modern wedding flower design are getting popular and favored by both experts and general people
