영문 초록

The recent emergence of new types of housing in South Korea has reflected a change in lifestyle. New types of housing include various forms of house-sharing depending on the scope and method of sharing residential space as well as the way such space is managed. A house in multiple occupation (HMO) is a property rented out by at least 3 people who are not from 1 ‘household’ (for example a family) but share facilities like the bathroom and kitchen. It’s sometimes called a ‘house share’ In the United Kingdom, residential sharing is managed by Houses in Multiple Occupation’. For the stable management of HMO, the license system is under operation. In the United Kingdom, the law provides for details of Shared House. It is necessary to introduce UK Room Rental Agreement and Roommate Contract in Korea. We have to think whether to accept the British contract form as it is or accept it as a new one.
