국문 초록

최근 슬로바키아는 거시경제지표가 매우 견실하며 기업투자가 활발하고 수출시장이 확대되고 있다. 하지만 인구노령화의 진전, 사회통합 부족, 낮은 자원효율과 환경압력 등 포괄적인 성장을 방해하는 문제도 안고 있다. 지속적인 성장을 위하여 여성과 소외집단의 잠재력을 실현할 수 있는 기회를 확장하고 적극적 노동시장정책을 통하여 장기실업자나 저숙련 노동자를 노동시장에 통합시키는 일이 요구된다. 교사의 전문성 강화, 연구개발 투자 확대, 제3차 교육기관과 민간회사 간 협업 등을 통하여 변화하는 노동시장에 대응할 수 있는 교육시스템을 갖추어야 한다. 자원의 효율성을 증가시키고 녹색성장을 이룰 수 있는 일관성 있는 정책을 확립하여 자원집약적이고 오염집약적인 산업을 업그레이드하고 친환경적 일자리를 창출하여야 한다.

영문 초록

The Slovak Republic continues to experience robust growth, strong business investments and increasing export market. However, population ageing, weak social inclusion, poor resource efficiency and increasing pressure on the environment poses an challenge to the inclusiveness of economic performance. For continuous economic growth, there is a need for expanding the opportunity for women and disadvantaged groups to realize their potential and integrating the long-term unemployed and the low-skilled into the labor market using active labor market policies. Also, the education system needs to react to the labor market needs through managing teachers’ professional development, expanding R&D and strengthening partnership between tertiary educational institutions and private firms. Coherent policies to increase resource efficiency, to upgrade resource - and pollution-intensive industries, and create greener jobs should be established.
