영문 초록

A remarkable feature of Incoterms 2010 is that Delivered Ex Quay (DEQ) from Incoterms 2000 was replaced by Delivered at Terminal (DAT). Unlike DEQ, DAT is a rule in which the seller fulfills his obligation by placing the goods at the buyer’s disposal after unloading them from the means of transportation at the named terminal at the named port or place of destination, and until the goods have been delivered. Thus, in this situation, the seller must bear all costs relating to the transportation and all risks of loss or damage to the goods. Although there has been a lot of research studies looking into Incoterms 2010, so far it seems that the DAT has not caught much attention from researchers working on international trade studies and this explains why no study about DAT exists. Therefore, the principal purpose of this study is to dig into the details of DAT and compare this with DEQ. Also, the results of the present study could help practitioners in related fields utilize DAT properly and allow it to be more widely used. More details will be presented in the manuscript.
