초등학교 방과후학교 프로그램 만족도의 차이에 관한 연구 -대도시와 중소도시의 지역 초등학교 학생과 학부모 인식을 중심으로-

국문 초록

본 연구는 초등학교 방과후학교 프로그램 만족도의 차이에 관한 연구로 대도시와 중소도시 지역의 초등학교 학생과 학부모를 대상으로 방과후학교 프로그램의 만족도를 조사하여 개선방안 등의 의견을 파악하고 이를 바탕으로 방과후학교 프로그 램의 개선점을 찾고자 하였다. 연구대상은 경기도 소재의 초등학교를 대상으로 방과후학교에 참여하는 경기도 여주시 소재의 중소도시 지역 G초등학교 학생 29명, 학부모 29명과 경기도 수원시소재의 대도시 지역 M초등학교 학생 19명, 학부모 30명 계 학생 48명, 학부모 59명 을 임의로 선정하여 설문조사를 실시하여 각 집단 간 비교 분석하였다. 연구 결과 초등학교 학생과 학부모의 방과후학교 프로그램 만족도 조사에서 중소도시 지역 G초등학교는 학생 만족도 82.07%, 학부모 만족도 81.93%, 대도시 지역 M초등학교는 학생 만족도 76.05%, 학부모 만족도 80.27%로 2학교에 대한 전체 만족도 조사 결과는 학생 만족도 79.69%, 학부모 만족도 80.81%로 전반적으로 만족하였다. 본 연구의 설문조사 결과에 비추어 볼 때, 방과후학교 프로그램의 개선점은 학생의 특기 적성 계발에 도움이 될 수 있도록 방과후학교 프로그램의 질적 개선을 함으로써 학생들이 방과후학교에 계속 참여하고 싶도록 프로그램 교육과정 개발 및 교육환경 개선, 강사교육 등을 위한 적극적인 예산의 투입이 필요하다. 무엇보다도 방과후학교 목적이 사교육비 절감에 있으므로 경제적으로 빈곤한 중소도시 지역에 지역적인 소득 격차를 고려하여 방과후학교 수강료의 무상 확대 및 학부모의 요구에 맞게 좀 더 낮게 책정하여 비용 부담으로 인해 참여를 꺼린다는 응답자가 존재하지 않도록 개선 될 수 있게 보다 많은 노력을 해야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the satisfaction of elementary school after - school program and to investigate the satisfaction of after - school program for elementary school students and parents in big cities and small and medium cities. The subjects of this study were 29 elementary school students in Gyeonggi province, G elementary school in Yeoju city, Gyeonggi province and 29 students in elementary school in Gyeonggi province, and 19 students in M elementary school in Suwon city, Gyeonggi province. And 59 parents were randomly selected, and the results were compared and analyzed. As a result of the survey, the satisfaction rate of elementary school students and parents in after - school program was 82.07%, 81.93% in elementary schools, 76.05% in elementary schools, and 80.27% in parents in the metropolitan area. The results were generally satisfied with 79.69% of students satisfaction and 80.81% of parents satisfaction. According to the results of the survey, the improvement of the after-school program is to improve the quality of the after-school program so that it will help students to develop their special skills. And the improvement of the educational environment, and instructor education. First of all, since the purpose of after-school is to reduce private education expenses, considering the regional income gap in economically poor small and medium-sized cities, the cost of after-school tuition is lowered to a lesser level according to the needs of parents. More efforts should be made to make sure the respondents do not exist.
