국문 초록

본 연구는 기업상담자들이 기업 내 상담실에서 경험하는 어려움과 적응과정을 심층적으로 이해 하고자 하였다. 이는 상담자들이 기업상담 장면에서 겪게 되는 경험을 탐색하여 기업상담자의 변화와 성장에 대해 세심하게 이해하고자 하였고, 이것은 확대되고 있는 기업상담 분야에 실질적인 도움이 될 것으로 보았다. 이를 위해 경력이 3년 이상인 6명의 기업상담자들을 대상으로 심층 면담을 통한 자료에 대하여 Colaizzi(1978)의 현상학적 연구방법을 적용하여 분석하였다. 그결과 51개의 주제, 16개의 주제군, 5개의 범주가 도출되었다. 범주 1은 ‘역할 정체성 혼란’, 범주 2는 ‘기업상담 환경의 미흡함’, 범주 3은 ‘기업상담자의 갈등’, 범주 4는 ‘기업상상담자의 대처 및 극복’, 범주 5는 ‘기업상담의 강점과 의미’로 도출되었다. 본 연구는 기업상담 장면에서 기업상담자들의 적응과정에 대한 경험을 살펴봄으로써 그들을 이해하고자 하였다. 본 연구 결과를 토대로 보다 세부적이면서도 특정 주제의 기업상담자에 대한 연구가 이루어지길 기대하며, 기업상담과 관련된 이들에게 실제적인 도움이 되길 바라면서 본 연구 결과의 시사점과 연구의 제한점 및 추후 연구에 대한 제언을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The present study was to understand in-depth the difficulties and the adaptation process experienced by workplace counselors. Th is study explored the experiences of counselors in the fi eld of workplace counseling, and tried to understand the changes and growth of workplace counselors in detail. Th is was expected to be of practical help for the ever-expanding fi eld of workplace counseling. For the purpose of the study, the researcher interviewed six workplace counselors with experience of 3 or longer years and analyzed the data by using Colaizzi(1978)’s phenomenological approach. The results of the study were as follow; In the study, 51 themes, 16 themes clusters, and 5 categories were derived. The first category was “poor operational environments at counseling center”, Th e second category was “confusion in professional identity”, Th e third category was “conflict of workplace counselors”, The fourth category was “responding to and overcoming diffi culties”, Th e last category was “meaning and strongpoint of workplace counselors”. Th e present study is expected to provide opportunities for the further studies related to the counseling in workplace and provide practical understanding to future counselors in workplace. Finally, the limitations, implications and suggestions of the study were discussed to off er practical tip for following studies.
