영문 초록

Recently MIS is a popular program in many Korean universities. The name itself even gives some state-of-the-art image. However the contents of MIS programs are often mere patchy ones of computer science and management courses. Not many schools offer well-organized and consistent MIS program. This report contains a partial picture of MIS education in Korea. As references, American MIS curricula recommended by AACSB, ACM and DPMA are discussed. The main purpose of this study is to give some information for finding good and impelementable MIS course structures in Korean university. For this study, a survey was executed. The survey can be augmented and refined in the future, but as itself shows many useful implications for MIS educators.
