국문 초록

본 연구는 국내에서 영어로 수업을 진행하는 K대학 외국인 유학생들의 미디어 정보 리터러시 수준분석을 위해 설문조사를 실시하였다. 응답결과를 바탕으로 수집된 측정결과에 대해 타당성과 신뢰도를 검증하기 위해 통계분석프로그램인 SPSS 21.0으로 문항분석을 실시하였으며, 연구대상 집단별도 각 요인별 미디어 정보 리터러시 이용의 다양성을 분석하였다. 빈도분석, χ2-test를 사용하여 분석한 결과를 근거로 영어로 수업을 하는 외국인 유학생의 국내 미디어 정보 리터러시 이용현황은 주로 인터넷 쇼핑, 은행 등의 일생생활에 초점이 맞추어져 있음을 확인하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the level of Media Information Literacy of international students in K-university, who attend the courses in which the classes are delivered only in English. A survey was carried out to find out the level of media information literacy. In order to verify the validity and reliability of the measurement result gathered from the responses, an item analysis was carried out with SPSS21.0, a statistics analysis software, and the diversity of utilizing media information literacy was also measured according to the factors of each analysand group. The analysis result gathered through χ2-test, a frequency analysis tool, shows that international students use domestic media information literacy mainly for daily life activities such as the internet shopping and the bank transaction.
