변형지체장애인의 장애정체감이 취업에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 2016년도 장애인고용패널 자료에 대한 분석을 통하여 변형지체장애인의 장애정체감이 취업 여부에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 실증적으로 규명하고자 수행되었다. 이를 위하여 장애정체감을 독립변수, 취업 여부를 종속변수, 장애 정도, 성별, 연령, 학력, 결혼 상태, 자격증 개수를 통제변수로 하여 연구 모형을 설정하였으며, 총 570명의 변형지체장애인의 응답을 토대로 분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 분석 결과, 장애정체감, 성별, 혼인 상태가 취업 여부에 영향을 미치는 것으로 보고되었다. 즉 장애정체감이 높을수록, 여성에 비해 남성이, 미혼에 비해 결혼ㆍ동거인 경우에 취업의 가능성이 증가함을 살펴볼 수 있었다. 이상의 분석 결과를 토대로 본 연구에서 심리적 접근과 제도적 접근으로 나누어 변형지체장애인의 취업을 증진시키기 위한 정책적 제언을 실시하였다.

영문 초록

In this study, the analysis of the data by The panel of employment for the disabled on employment was conducted to investigate the effect of disability identity on employment status in the physically deformed disability. For this, a research model was set up with the disability identity as a independent variable, the employment as a dependent variable, and the degree of disability, gender, age, education level, marital status, and the number of qualifications as control variables and analyzed based on the responses of 570 disabled persons with disabilities. As a result of this study, it was reported that disability identity, sex, and marital status affected the employment status. In other words, the higher the sense of disability identity, the greater the likelihood of employment in marriage and cohabitation compared to that of unmarried men. Based on the results of the above analysis, this study proposed policy suggestions for promoting employment of persons with physically deformed disabilities.
