국문 초록

본 연구는 손실기업에서의 현금보유가 투자성향에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구이다. 연구기간은 2005년부터 2017년까지이며, 한국거래소에 상장되어 있는 7,772개의 기업을 대상으로 하였으며, 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 손실기업의 경우 투자성향에 미치는 영향은 대해 연구하였으며, 연구결과는 손실기업의 경우 투자성향에 음의 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 현금보유가 투자성향에 미치는 영향에 대해 연구하였으며, 연구결과 현금보유의 증가는 기업의 투자성향에 양의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 손실기업변수와 현금보유변수가 투자성향에 미치는 영향에 대해 연구하였다. 분석결과, 손실기업변수는 투자성향에 음의 영향을 미치고 있으나, 현금보유변수는 투자성향에 양의 영향을 미치고 있는 것을 알 수 있다. 넷째, 손실기업변수와 현금보유변수의 상호작용효과를 살펴보면, 상호작용효과가 투자성향에 음의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 손실기업의 경우 현금보유가 증가하더라도 미래 투자건에 대해 보수적으로 투자하는 것으로 나타났다

영문 초록

This study is investigated at the impact of free cash flow on investment propensity for loss firms. The research period was from 2005 to 2017 and was targeted at 7,772 companies listed on the Korea Exchange. The analysis results are as follows. First, the impact on investment propensities of loss firms was studied. Research has shown that the investment patterns of loss firms are negatively affected. Second, the impact of free cash flow on investment propensities was studied. Analysis shows that the increase in free cash flows has a positive effect on corporate investment patterns. Third, the impact of loss firms variables and free cash flow variables on investment propensities were studied. The analysis shows that while the loss firms variable has a negative effect on the investment propensity, the free cash flow variable has a positive effect on the investment propensity. Fourth, when looking at the interaction effects of loss firms variables and free cash flow variables, it was shown that the interaction effects had a negative effect on investment propensity. This showed that loss companies are investing conservatively in future investments, even if the free cash flow increases.
