영문 초록

Enhancements of LD₅₀ values by various antidotes against cyanide intoxication were investigated in mice. The highest antidotal action was exhibited by the combination of sodium thiosulfate and sodium nitrite. Chlorpromazine marketedly potentiated the antidotal effect of sodium thiosulfate although the administration of chlorpromazine alone provided a little protection against cyanide poisoning. Sodium thiosulfate was more efficacious than sodium nitrite or chlorpromazine when it was administered alone.
