영문 초록

Intradermal test by the use of heat concentrated synthetic medium tuberculin and purified protein derivative tuberculin has been applied for the detection of bovine tuberculosis. The data accumulated during the years 1971-1977 inclusive were analysed with particular regard to the factors affecting tuberculin reaction. 1. Three hundred and seventy-seven (0.14%) of 261,342 cattle tested throughout country during the years 1971-1977 were tuberculin positive reactors. 2. In the detection rates of tuberculin reactors by provinces, Chungbuk (40 heads) was 0.65% the highest, Seoul (69 heads) 0.37%, Gyeongbuk (2 heads) 0.31%, Jeonbuk (11 heads) 0.29%, Gyeonggi (222 heads) 0.13%, Gangweon (4 heads) 0.11%, Gyeongnam (22 heads) 0.1% and Busan (1 head) 0.01%. 3. Of 111 tuberculin reactors, 53 heads (47.8%) were infested by liver fluke and 30 heads (56.7%) were pregnant. Fifty-eight (52.2%) of 111 tuberculin reactors were no visible lesion reactors. Of these, 24 heads (41.1%) were infested by liver fluke and 32 heads (55.2%) were pregnant. 4. The mean thickness of erythema in 53 visible lesion reactors was 10.7mm, while in 58 no visible lesion reactors it was 8.6mm. 5. Of the organs to be found with the lesions, lungs (32 heads) were 60.4% the highest, mesenteric lymphnodes (26 heads) 49.1%, pulmonary lymph glands (25 heads) 47.2%, tonsils (8 heads) 15.1%, hepatic lymph glands (7 heads) 13.2%, intestine and liver (each 3 heads) 5.7%, mandibular lymph glands (2 heads) 3.8% and supramammary glands (1 head) 1.9%.
