국문 초록

본 연구는 음악치료 프로그램이 자활근로사업 단원의 자아존중감과 대인관계에 미치는 효과를 알아보는 데에 그 목적이 있다. 이러한 연구목적 달성을 위해 경남 K시에 거주하는 자활근로사업 단원을 대상으로 음악치료 프로그램을 주 2회씩 총 24회기에 걸쳐 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 음악치료 프로그램은 자활근로사업 단원의 자아존중감 향상에 긍정적인 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 음악치료 프로그램은 자활근로사업 단원의 대인관계 향상에 효과적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 통해 음악치료 프로그램은 자활근로사업 단원의 자아존중감과 대인관계 향상에 긍정적인 효과가 있음을 알 수 있다. 따라서 자활훈련기관에서는 음악치료 프로그램을 자활근로사업 단원들의 심리적 측면에서는 자아존중감을 증진시킬 수 있는 심리 재활 중재로, 사회적 측면에서는 대인관계를 향상시키기 위한 계획된 중재로 활용할 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of a music therapy program on the self-esteem and interpersonal relationships of participants in a self-sufficiency program. The subjects in this study were the selected residents in an urban community in South Gyeongsang Province, who participated in a self-sufficiency program. A music therapy program was provided for them in 24 sessions, twice a week. The findings of the study were as follows: First, the music therapy program was found to exert an effective influence on the improvement of the self-esteem of the self-sufficiency program participants. Second, the music therapy program was found to exercise an effective influence on their interpersonal relationships. The findings of the study illustrated that the music therapy program had positive impacts on the improvement of the self-esteem and interpersonal relationships of the participants in the self-sufficiency program. Therefore self-sufficiency training institutions should make psychological use of the music therapy program as an intervention for psychological rehabilitation, and this program also should socially be offered as a well-planned intervention to improve interpersonal relationships.
