좋은 수업을 하고 싶은 어린이집 교사들의 수업 비평 경험 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 좋은 수업을 하고 싶은 어린이집 교사들의 수업 비평 경험을 탐구하는데 있다. 본 연구에서 수업 비평은 비평가가 수업 장면을 관찰하고, 기술, 분석, 해석하여 비평문을 작성하고 이를 기반으로 대화를 나누는 과정을 통칭한다. 이를 위해 놀이 중심 교육과정을 운영하는 P어린이집의 좋은 수업을 하고 싶어 하는 교사 2명을 연구 참여자로 하여 수업비평을 실시하였다. 수업 비평 절차는 수업 비평에 대한 설명, 교실 관찰, 수업 비평문 작성, 수업 비평 대화로 이루어졌다. 더불어 교사 2인의 면담이 1시간씩 이루어졌다. 수집한 모든 자료는 전사하여 분석하였다. 그 결과 교사들은 처음 수업 비평에 참여하는 것을 부담스러워 하였으나 비평가가 작성한 비평문을 통해 자신의 수업을 보게 되면서 인정받은 느낌을 받게 되었다. 그 후 비평가의 눈으로 자신의 수업을 보고 싶어 하며 수업 비평 시간을 기다렸다. 또한 교사들은 비평가가 작성한 비평문의 주제와 자신의 고민이 맞닿아있다는 것을 느끼고, 평소의 고민을 함께 나누며 대화를 해나갔다. 이 과정을 통해 교사들은 자신의 신념을 형성해 나갔다. 마지막으로 교사들은 비평가의 눈을 통해 자신도 좋은 수업을 하고 있다는 것을 깨달은 후, 자신감을 가지고 다른 교사의 수업을 따라하는 등 좋은 수업을 실천하 였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore the class criticism experiences of day care teachers who would like to have good classes. In this study, the class criticism refers that a third party observes, describes, analyzes, interprets, writes a critique and communicates on the basis of the teacher s class. For this, the class criticism was conducted by an external critic with two teachers who wanted to have good classes in the P daycare center. The class criticism process consisted of explanation of class criticism, classroom observations, making a written class criticism, and having conversation between teachers and critics based on the written critique. Also, this research included an hour interview of the two teachers who engaged in the class criticism process. As a result, teachers felt burdened to be involved class criticism at first, but the written criticism by a critic made them feel confident as it acknowledge that they were good teachers. They then wanted to see their classes with the eye of a critic and waited for the class criticism session. Also, the teachers also found that their concerns were closely related to the written critique. This leads them to have a conversation with the critic on the raised concerns in the written form. Through the classroom criticism process, furthermore, teachers became able to develop their educational principle. Finally, after teachers realized that they were doing a good class through the criticism process they practiced good classes with confidence, including copying other teachers good classes.
