문화예술교육 프로그램의 영향에 대한 질적 연구

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 문화예술교육 프로그램이 저소득층 아동에게 미치는 영향을 알아 보는 데 있다 문화예술교육 프로그램의 내용은 연극, 미술, 악기, 무용으로 구성되었으며, 다양한 교습법, 내용, 공연관람과 같은 체험 및 사후 활동, 발표회 등으로 이루어졌다. 기간은 2010년 5월부터 약 8개월 간 주 1회 진행되었다. 문화예술교육의 영향을 알아보기 위해 안산 자바르떼 교육과정에 참여한 38명의 아동들을 대상으로 관찰과 면담, 예술 강사 및 유치원 교사 및 학부모 면담을 진행했다. 연구 결과 다음과 같은 점들이 발견되었다. 첫째, 문화예술교육 프로그램에 참여한 아이들에게서 발표력과 자신감향상이 눈에 띄게 나타났는데 특히 수줍음이 많고 내성적이었던 아이들과 언어적 능력이 부족한 다문화가정의 아이들이 발표를 잘하게 되거나, 발표를 하고 싶어 하며, 시도하려는 모습을 볼 수 있었다. 둘째, 타인 배려 능력과 의사소통 능력의 향상이 발견되었다. 특히 예술수업을 통해 사회적인 관계를 형성하는 기회가 되고 이러한 사회적 관계망은 또래에 비해 떨어지는 아이들을 받아들이고 배려하는 기회가 되기도 하였다. 셋째, 아이들은 수업에 대한 호기심과 즐거움을 나타냈으며, 문화예술에 대해 긍정적인 태도를 보였다. 넷째, 기능적인 훈련이 많았던 수업의 경우 기량의 향상이 눈에 보였다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted to explore the applicability of arts education to social work practice for children of low income families. The method of the qualitative research was applied to analyze the arts education programme at the city of Ansan. it was various arts education programme in which 38 children of low income families were participated every week for 8 months. The results of this study were summarized as follows: First, culture and art education from the children who participated in the program improved utterance and self-confidence was visibly appeared shy, especially many children were shy, lack of linguistic skills in multi-cultural families with children are well presented, or wanted to have published, and an attempt could be seen. Second, the ability to communicate with others, improved ability to care were found. Especially through art classes the opportunity to form social relationships and these social network falling over the age children may have had the opportunity to accept and care. Third, the children expressed about the curiosity and pleasure during the lession, arts and culture was positive about. Fourth, functional training in teaching skills showed noticeable improvement.
