영문 초록

Rason Economic Trade Zone, the earliest free economic and trade zone of DPRK, now established a legal system of foreign investment that includes labor legislation, ensuring a fundamental legal environment for foreign investors, with labor legislation as a crucial legal safeguard for the various reforms in Rason Economic Trade Zone. However, comparing with the labor legislation of Chinese special economic zones, deficiencies remain for the current DPRK labor legislation that is based on a planned economy. The further reforms and opening-up of Rason Economic Trade Zone require foreign investment legislation, including labor legislation, to be fully in line with international routines and market economic characteristics. Therefore, labor contract legislation should be properly improved to enable enterprises to gain their autonomy in management, along with the better settlement of labor dispute and the enhanced legislation of social insurance.
