영문 초록
This experiments was carried out to develop a scale propagation method with improved bulblet development and flowering. Three scaling methods examined were as follows : 1) direct scale seeding in the field, 2) direct scale seeding in the plastic film house, and 3) seeding after pretreatment of scale at 25±2℃ for 30 days followed by that at 5~8℃ for 45days in the plastic film house (pretreared scale seeding).
Plant height, number of leaves, bulblet weight and diameter were more increased in the pretreated scale seeding than in the both direct scale seedings. Flowering rate was higher in the bulbs produced from pretreared scale seeding than thos from the direct scale seedings in the platic film house by 88, 83 and 83%, in Gelria, Le Reve, and Grand Paradiso, respectively. The circumference of scale was larger in the pretreated scale seeding than in the both direct scale seedings by 12.6, 13.4, and 12.0㎝ in Gelria, Le Reve, and Grand Paradiso, respectively. Plant growth was delayed at the temperature over 25℃ and below 5℃ in the three varieties. Growth retardation was severe in the direct scale seeding in the field due to the low temperature during the early growth stage.
