국문 초록

1. 우리나라 기왕의 수도품종 및 방사선에 의한 변이계통의 단백질함량의 유전적인 변이와, 이들의 질소질비료의 증가에 따른 단백질함량을 조사하였다. 2. 재래품종은 장려품종에 비해 단백질함량의 유전적 및 질소시비량의 증가에 의한 변이는 넓고, 평균치도 높으나, 그 차이는 근소하였다. 3. 변이계통의 단백질함량은 모품종에 비해 70~170% 범위였고, 시비량에 따른 단백질함량의 변이폭은 기왕의 품종에 비해 넓었다. 4. 고단백전이계통의 질소시비량에 따른 단백질함량은 변이계통의 특성에 따라 모품종에 비해 다양하게 변하였다. 5. 고단백변이계통의 단백질함량의 증대 및 효율적인 선발을 위해서는 변이계통의 특성에 적합한 시비량을 결정하여야겠다.

영문 초록

Protein screening on different mutants induced from five leading varieties, by means of radiation, was conducted. For mutant lines with normal protein and high protein content, effects of nitrogen application on protein content were also examined. The average protein percent of native varieties was 7.6% with range from 6.7 to 8.8%, and that of recommended varieties was 7.4% ranging from 6.1 to 8.1%, while in the mutant lines protein percent relative to mother varieties was 70 to 170%. On variation of protein content in normal protein and high protein mutants under increased nitrogen application, protein content of mutants was increased. The increase of protein percent in their mother lines and other existing Korean rice varieties under increased nitrogen level was much narrower in comparison with that of the mutants. The mutant lines, responded variously. In the selection of high protein mutant, providing optimal nitrogen fertilizer levels seems necessary for the full manifestation of genetic capacity of the mutant.
