간호대학 신입생의 자기효능감, 전공만족도 및 대학생활 적응과의 관계

국문 초록

본 연구는 간호대학 신입생의 자기효능감, 전공만족도 및 대학생활 적응 정도를 파악하고 각 변수들 간의 상관성을 파악하여 대학생활 적응을 돕는 기초자료를 제공하고자 시행하였다. 대상자는 일개 간호대학의 1학년 총 213명을 2017년 6월 5일부터 6월 9일까지 조사하였다. 자기효능감의 전체 평균 평점은 3.35(±0.41)점, 전공만족도는 3.76(±0.53)점, 대학생활 적응은 3.30(±0.46)점이었다. 자기효능감은 연령(p=.002), 입학동기(p<.001)에서, 전공만족도는 입학동기(p=.005), 대학생활 적응은 성별(p=.029), 입학동기(p=.003)에서 통계적으로 차이가 있었다. 자기효능감은 전공만족도(r=.395, p<.001), 대학생활 적응(r=.553, p<.001)과 전공만족도는 대학생활 적응(r=.515, p<.001)과 유의한 정적 상관관계를 나타냈다. 결론적으로, 간호대학 신입생의 자기효능감, 전공만족도, 대학생활 적응간에는 관련이 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 간호대학 신입생의 대학생활 적응을 높이기 위해서는 자기효능감과 전공 만족도를 증진시킬 수 있는 프로그램 개발과 반복 연구가 이루어져야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted to describe the relationship among self-efficacy, satisfaction in major and college life adaptation of freshman nursing students in order to present basic data to assist in adaption of college life. There were 213 nursing freshman between June 5 and June 9, 2017, who participated in this study. The mean score of the self-efficacy, satisfaction in major and college life adaptation was 3.35(±0.41), 3.76(±0.53), and 3.30(±0.46). The college life adaptation related with male group (p=.029), motivation entrance (p=.003), and self-efficacy related with age (p=.002), entering motivation (p<.001), and satisfaction in major related with entering motivation (p=.005) all showed statistical significance. There was a significant positive correlation among self-efficacy, satisfaction in major (r=.395, p<.001), and college life adaptation (r=.553, p<.001). A significant and positive correlation was found between satisfaction in major and college life adaptation (r=.515, p<.001). In conclusion, this study showed that college life adaptation of freshman nursing students was correlated with self-efficacy and satisfaction in major. In order to increase the college adaptation of nursing freshman, it is necessary to develop programs to improve self-efficacy and satisfaction in major.
