중도 지체장애학생의 진학과정에 대한 생애사적 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 중도 지체장애학생이 겪은 진학과정의 의미를 살펴보는데 목적이 있다. 연구 참여자는 수도권 소재의 특수학교의 고등학교 3학년에 재학 중인 중도 지체장애학생 1명 이었다. 연구 참여자는 전교 학생회장 겸 동아리 회장 그리고 국장의 직책을 가지고 있었다. 또한 연구 참여자는 전동 휠체어를 타는 지체장애 1급을 갖고 있었다. 연구자는 중도 지체장애학생이 겪은 진학과정을 분석하기 위하여 생애사적 연구방법의 면담으로 자료를 수집하였다. 즉, 연구자는 연구 참여자의 진솔한 이야기 중심으로 자료를 수집하고 담임교사의 이야기는 보충자료로 수집하였다. 자료 분석은 생애사적 연구방 법의 연대기적 시간의 순서에 따라 의미 있는 이야기를 기술하고 해석하였다. 중도 지체장애학생이 겪은 진학과정의 연구결과를 살펴보면, 첫째, 진학과정 이전은 연구 참여자의 어려운 가정형편과 생활재활교사가 엄마의 역할로서 헌신적인 도움으로 드러났다. 둘째, 진학과정 단계는 초등학교 생활은 선생님의 관심과 기대에 힘입어 연구 참여자의 안정으로 제시되었다. 중학교 생활은 다양한 도우미의 지원과 상호 협력으로 밝혀졌다. 고등학교 생활은 3학년 담임교사의 역량과 연구 참여자의 준비와 노력으로 나타났다. 셋째, 진학과정 이후는 연구 참여자의 대학 합격과 더불어 진학의 성공으로 분석되었다. 이 생애사적 연구를 통하여 중도 지체장애학생이 겪은 진학과정은 장애인의 성공적인 삶의 단면을 보여주는 것으로서 의미를 부여할 수 있었다.

영문 초록

The study aims to explore the meaning of the admission process of students suffering from severe physical disability student. The researchers gathered data from a lifetime private study method to analyze the progress of students suffering from severe physical disability student. Data analysis techniques describe and interpret meaningful stories according to chronological order of chronological period of life. According to the study of the results of the admission process of students suffering from severe physical disability student, the following is the case: The first, Prior to the admission process, the study showed that the difficulties of the participants in the study and the rehabilitation of the living quarters were helped by the mother s role as a mother. The second, In the course of the admission process, the grade of elementary school was suggested by the teacher’s attention, thanks to the teacher s interests and expectations. Middle school life has been proven by various helpers and mutual cooperation. High school life was reflected in the preparation of the third-grade teacher and the efforts of the participants. The third, After the admission process, the college entrance exam was analyzed as a success in entering the university. The process of entering a disabled university was meant to represent the successful aspects of the successful life of a disabled person.
