행동지표 제시형 실천적 교수역량 평정척도 개발 및 타당화

국문 초록

이 연구는 교사의 실천적 교수역량을 체계적으로 평가하기 위한 방법의 하나로 행동지표 제시형 평정척도를 개발하고 타당화하기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해 관련 선행연구를 종합적으로 검토하고 현직교사의 수업비디오를 분석하여, 실천적 교수역량을 평가하기에 적합한 행동지표들을 15개 하위 항목별로 15개씩 총 225개를 추출하였다. 그리고 수집된 행동지표는 13명으로 구성된 2차례의 전문가협의회의를 통해 내용타당도와 수행 수준 등을 점검하였으며, 그 결과를 바탕으로 하위 항목별 4개 혹은 5개씩 총 65개의 대표적인 행동지표로 구성된 행동지표 제시형 평정척도를 개발하였다. 이후 행동지표 제시형 실천적 교수역량 평정척도를 활용하여 예비교사 29명의 수업시연 비디오에 대한 비디오 포트 폴리오 평가를 실시하고, 평가 결과를 분석하여 평정척도의 타당도와 신뢰도 등을 점검 하였다. 연구 결과 행동지표 제시형 평정척도는 타당도와 신뢰도가 양호한 것으로 나타 났으며, 실제 평가에 적용하는데 있어 리커트형 평정척도에 비해 상대적으로 더 적합한 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to develop and validate practical teaching competency scale using behaviorally anchored rating scales (BARS). Having done a comprehensive literature review, videos of the in-service teachers’ instruction were analyzed. 225 behavioral indicators, according to 15 domains, were extracted to assess practical teaching competency, and a conference consisted of 13 experts rated the content validity and performance levels of the indicators. Based on the ratings, the behavioral indicators ranging from ① being very poor to ⑤ being very well were selected by each domain. Finally, BARS was constructed with 65 behavioral indicators. Subsequently, to assess pre-service teacher’s practical teaching competency, video portfolios of 29 pre-service teachers’ mock instructions were tried. And then, five experts as well as all participants assessed the videos, using Likert-type scales together with BARS. Consequently, the content validity and the inter-rater reliability of developed BARS were high. Also the properness of BARS for assessing practical teaching competency was relatively higher than Likert-type scales, looking at the reduced rating errors of the assessors.
