국문 초록

본 연구는 존재의 결핍으로 문제를 가지고 있는 사람이 왜 그런 결핍이 생겨났는지, 어떤 문제가 있는지, 증상이 무엇인지, 어떻게 그 문제가 해결되어 가는지에 대한 과정을 밝히는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구를 위해 협력적 자문화기술지라는 연구방법을 통해 이야기하고 있으며 이 과정에서 공동연구자와 함께 기억자료, 개인 수퍼비전 녹취록, 인터뷰 전사본, 문헌자료, 현재 공동저자와의 관계 등의 자료를 순환적으로 수집하고 분석하였다. 연구결과로 첫째는 존재감이 없는 ‘나’, 둘째는 쓸모를 통해 인정받으려는 ‘나’, 셋째는 존재의 확인을 원하는 ‘나’로 범주화하였다. 존재의 결핍은 어린 시절 양육자와의 관계의 결손으로 인해 나의 존재감을 느낄 수 없어서 쓸모를 통해 타인의 인정과 칭찬으로 자신을 찾고자 하였으나 공허감과 외로움을 경험 하게 되는 자신을 발견하게 되었다. 본 연구 과정에서 공동저자와의 치료적 관계는 나의 가치의 소중함을 재경험하는 계기가 되었다. 본 연구 결과의 결과로 논의에서는 이러한 문제를 가지고 있는 이들을 관계 안에서 어떻게 다루어야 할지에 대한 시사점을 논하고 마지막으로 이런 사람들이 상담 장면에 왔을 때 어떻게 개입하고 도와야 할지에 대한 상담의 개입전략을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the process of how a person with the deficiency of sence of self-existence came to develop such a problem; what the reasons are; what the symptoms are; and how the problem can be solved. For this research, the cooperative autoethnography was used as a research method and in this process, all materials such as memory data, personal supervision transcripts, interviewed transcripts, literature data and/or relationship with current co-researchers were collected and analyzed in a circular way. Based on the result of the research, the study defined ‘myself’ into 3 categories; first ‘myself’ without existence; second ‘myself’ trying to be recognized for my usability; and third, ‘myself ’ who seeks to verify the self-existence. In terms of deficiency of existence, they do not have confidence in their existence mostly due to the lack of strong relationship with the care giver in their childhood. Therefore, they tried to find themselves by being recognized and praised by others for their usability. However, they just experienced a sense of emptiness and/or loneliness. On the basis of the analysis, the study reviewed how to deal with those who have these problems and suggested the intervention strategy for counseling to respond to and support them effectively when they come for counseling.
