국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 기술혁신역량의 매개효과를 중심으로 CEO유형과 기술혁신역량이 기술혁신성과에 미치는 영향을 분석하는데 있다. 이에 따라, 혁신형 중소기업(벤처기업, 이노비즈기업, 경영혁신형 기업 등)을 연구대상으로 하였다. 본 연구는 실증분석에 필요한 자료수집을 위해 중기청에 등록된 서울･경기지역 혁신형 중소기 업(250社)을 연구대상으로 하여 4주간 설문조사를 통해 실증분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, CEO와 시장중심형 CEO는 기술혁신역량에 부(－)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나, 기술형 CEO와 컨설턴트형 CEO는 기술혁신역량에 정(＋)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 둘째, CEO의 4개 유형별로 기술혁신역성과에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과, 관리형CEO는 모든 기술혁신성과에서 부(－)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며 시장중심형CEO는 기술혁신성과의 원가절감에서 통계적으로 유의한 정(＋)의 영향을 미치고, 제품품질향상에서는 통계적으로 유의 한 부(－)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 기술형 CEO는 기술혁신성과 중 원가절감, 기존제품 기술개선에서 정(＋)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났지만 통계적으로 유의하지 않았다. 컨설턴트형 CEO는 기술혁신성과 중 제품품질향상, 기존제품기술개선, 생산공정 개선에서 통계적으로 유의한 (＋)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 기술혁신역량이 기술혁신성과에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과, 기술발전방향 이해역량은 제품품질향상과 원가절감, 기존제품기술개선, 신제품개발 성과에서 통계적으로 유의한 양의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 새로운 기술적응역량과 기술이전 받을 능력은 제품품질향상, 기존제품기술개선, 신제품개발에서 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 기술혁신역량은 기술형 CEO와 컨설턴트형CEO에서 기술혁신성과에 매개효과가 발생하였다. 그러나, 기술혁신역량은 관리형CEO와 시장중심형CEO에서 기술혁신성과에 매개 효과가 발생하지 않았다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to analyze the impact of types of CEO and technology innovation capabilities on the technology innovation performance based on the mediating effect. Main results of this study are as followings. Frist, as the result of the effect of types of CEO on technology innovation capabilities suggested that consultant type, technology type, market oriented type, and management type had a effect on technology innovation capabilities in order. Second, as the result of the effect of types of CEO on technology innovation capabilities suggested that types of CEO had effect on technological improvement, cost reduction, application for industrial property rights, and development of new products. Third, as the result of technology innovation capabilities on technology innovation performance suggested that technology innovation capabilities had statistically meaningful effects on technological improvement, cost reduction, application for industrial property rights, and development of new products. Fourth, as the result of analyzing mediating effect of technology innovation capabilities on types of CEO and technology innovation performance suggested that there was mediating effect between technology type of CEO and consultant type of CEO. However, there was not mediating effect between management type of CEO and market oriented type of CEO.
