구절초 잎의 휘발성 향기 성분 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 천연식물자원인 구절초(Chrysanthemum zawadskii) 잎의 휘발성 향기성분을 분석하기 위하여 구절초 잎 추출액 의 휘발성 성분을 연속증류 추출 장치(SDE) 법으로 포집하여 GC-MSD로 분석 동정한 결과, 구절초 잎의 주요 휘발성 화합물은 hydrocarbon 류로 검증되어 alcohol류, aldehyde 류, ester류, terpenoid류 등의 향기 성분이 동정되었다. 향기 성분의 면적 비율(peak area %)이 가장 높은 것은 1,8-cineole 로 구절초 잎의 주 향기 성분으로 검출되었다. 또한 높은 면적 비율을 보인 향기 성분으로는 alcanfor, thujone, borneol, camphor 순으로 높았다. 테르펜계 알코올 성분으로는 borneol, terpineol, myrtenol, verbenol 등이 검출되었다. 케톤류로는 cycloheptanone이 함유되어 있었고, 유기산 에스터류로는 bornyl acetate 및 thujenol acetate가 함유되어 있 었다. Terpene계 탄화수소류로는 pinene, terpinene, cadinene, caryophyllene, thujanone도 다량 검출되었다. 따라서 향과 기호성 뿐만 아니라 기능성 성분으로 주목받고 있 는 테르펜계 성분 등을 함유한 구절초와 같은 식물의 향기성분의 활용과 그 생리 효과에 대한 지속적인 연구가 이루어져 야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted to analyze the flavor components in the leaves of Chrysanthemum zawadskii. The volatile components in its leaves were extracted using simultaneous steam distillation and extraction (SDE) and analyzed by gas chromatography-mass selective detector (GC-MSD). The leaves of C. zawadskii were contained alcohols, aldehydes, ketones, esters, carboxylic acids, terpenoids, etc. The major flavor components of C. zawadskii were 1,8-cineole, alcanfor, thujone, borneol, decane and camphor. The peak area (%) of 1,8-cineole was the highest one among the flavor components. Alcohols were determined to be borneol, terpineol, myrtenol and verbenol. Decane, bicycloheptane, and butene were also detected and the carboxylic acid esters including bornyl acetate and thujenol acetate were identified. The terpenoids in its leaves included pinene, cadinene, caryophyllene, and thujanone. The leaves of C. zawadskii had many flavor components consisting of aldehydes, esters, and terpenoids as volatile compounds.
