정신장애인과 사례관리자가 지각하는 실천관계 유형별 특성에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 정신장애인과 담당 사례관리자가 각각 지각한 실천관계의 차이와 실천 관계 유형 및 실천관계 유형에 근거한 집단간 특성들에 대해서 파악해 보고 사례관리과정에서 상호간의 관계증진 및 향상을 위한 방안을 모색해 보는데 있다. 연구대상은 서울시에 위치한 정신장애인 사회복귀시설을 이용하는 정신장애인 369명과 담당 사례관리자 82명을 대상으로 조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료에 대해서 SPSS 15.0을 활용하였고, 기술통계분석 및 관계유형별 집단간 차이 및 특성을 파악하기 위해 t-test와 다변량분산분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 정신장애인과 사례관리자간의 실천관계의 지각된 일치도에 근거하여 실천관계는 4개의 유형으로 분류되었다. 정신장애인과 사례관리자가 실천관계를 상호 유사하게 지각하고 있으면서 평균 이상으로 실천관계를 상호 긍정적으로 지각하는 유형, 평균 이하로 상호 부정적으로 지각하는 유형, 그리고 실천관계를 상호 상이하게 지각하고 있으면서 정신장애인이 긍정 적으로 지각하는 유형, 반면에 사례관리자만 긍정적으로 지각하는 유형으로 분류해 볼 수 있었다. 이러한 네가지 유형의 집단간에는 자기효능감, 서비스만족, 재활성과에서 유의한 차이가 있었고 사례관리자의 직무만족과는 차이가 없음을 확인할 수 있었다. 이를 바탕으로 제언하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to comprehend the difference how a person with mental illness and his or her case manager perceive their working relationship in community mental health service, working relationship types, and the characteristics distinct to groups based on working relationship type. Another purpose of this study is to find measures to promote and improve the relationship during the case management process. 369 persons with mental illness using a social rehabilitation facility for persons with mental illness located in Seoul and their 82 case managers were studied. SPSS 15.0 was used to analyze the collected data. The t-test and multivariate analysis of variance(Manova) were implemented for descriptive statistical analysis and to comprehend group differences and characteristics, As a result of this study, four types of group were distinguished based on the consistency between how a person with mental illness and case manager perceive their working relationship: person with mental illness and case manager both perceive their working relationship similarly and positively mean and above (group 1), person with mental illness and case manager both perceive their working relationship similarly and negatively below mean (group 2), person with mental illness and case manager perceive their relationship differently with the person with mental illness having a positive perception (group 3), and person with mental illness and case manager perceive their relationship differently with the case manager having a positive perception (group 4). These four groups showed significant differences in self-efficacy, service satisfaction, and rehabilitation outcome and there was no difference in the job satisfaction of case managers. Based on these study results, implications were discussed.
