국문 초록

이 논문에서는 교파주의의 연원을 분석하기 위하여, 막스 베버, 에론스트 트뢸취, 리처드 니버의 주요 모델과 그 이론을 논리적 전망에서 분석한다. 이를 위하여 먼저 베버의 사회학적 이론을 분석하여, 그가 공간문제를 다루기 위해 시간의 논리를 사용했음을 고찰한다. 다음으로는 트뢸취의 역사학적 이론을 분석하여, 그가 시간의 문제를 다루기 위해 공간의 논리를 사용했음을 고찰하였다. 그 다음으로 니버의 도덕적 판단이론을 분석하여, 그가 문화의 문제를 다루기 위해 공간-시간 조합의 논리를 사용했음을 고찰하였다. 마지막으로 연구의 결과를 통하여 향후 연구를 위한 방법론적 가능성을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

This article explores the frame of denominationalism from a logical perspective, and focuses on the factors and mappings of three major models from M ax Weber, Ernst Troeltsch, and H. Richard Niebuhr. Regarding methodology, we first address the sociological theory of Weber as a temporal logic, and then investigate the historical theory of Troeltsch as a spatial logic. The last part discusses the moral judgm ent theory of Niebuhr as a space-time combinatorial logic for the topic. The analytical and critical consequences imply: (1) our methodology needs the clarification for the state of Church at the very beginning, (2) the historical context of the Church is under constant tension, (3) faith needs positive exertion upon history, and (4) our judgment of the historical Church should be comparative.
