학교스포츠클럽 참여가 초등학생의 학교 폭력태도와 학교생활만족도에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

이 연구는 학교스포츠클럽 참여가 초등학생의 학교폭력태도와 학교생활만족도에 미치는 영향을 규명하는 것이다. 이를 위해 서울시 소재 3개 초등학교 6학년 학생 397명을 대상으로 설문지법을 이용하였다. 유의수준 p<.05에서 검증하였으며, 통계처리는 SPSS WIN 21.0v 프로그램을 사용하여 빈도분석, 기술통계, 교차분석, t-검정, 일원배치분산분석을 실시한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 조사대 상자의 인구통계학적인 변인은 초등학생의 학교스포츠클럽 참여 여부에 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 학교 스포츠클럽에 참여하는 집단이 비참여집단보다 학교폭력태도는 낮고, 학교생활만족도는 뚜렷하게 높았다. 셋째, 학교스포츠클럽 참여 정도(시간·빈도·기간)에 따른 학교폭력태도와 학교생활만족도에는 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 없었다. 넷째, 학교스포츠클럽 교외대회 학교대표 경험이 있는 집단이 비경험집단보다 높게 나타났으나, 학교생활만족도는 차이가 없었다. 다섯째, 주관적 운동능력이 좋을 수록 학교폭력태도 점수는 낮고, 학교생활만족도는 뚜렷하게 높았다. 이와 같은 결과들을 종합하여볼 때, 초등학생의 학교스포츠클럽 참여는 학교폭력태도를 낮추고 학교생활만족도를 높이는 데에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있다고 볼 수 있다.

영문 초록

This study aimed at examining the effects of elementary school students participation in school sports clubs on their school violence attitudes and satisfaction with school life. First, the subjects demographic variables had effects on whether or not they participated in school sports clubs. That is, about 1.5 times more boys than girls participated in school sports clubs. Second, the group that participated in school sports club displayed lower school violence attitudes and clearly higher satisfaction with school life than the group that did not. Third, there was no statistically significant difference in the subjects school violence attitudes and satisfaction with school life depending on their level of participation in school sports clubs (hours, frequency, and duration). Fourth, the group that had experience of joining in an outside school sports club competition as representatives of their schools turned out to be higher than the group that did not, but there was no statistically significant difference in satisfaction with school life between the two groups. Finally, as the subjects displayed better subjective exercise ability, they showed lower scores in school violence attitudes and clearly higher scores in satisfaction with school life
