국문 초록

이 연구는 비이원적 앎을 강조하는 여성주의 교육학과 자아초월심리학의 의식발달과정을 비판적 으로 비교·분석하고 상호 보완적으로 이해함으로써 홀리스틱 교육의 의식발달과정과 교육방법 선정을 위한 시사점을 얻는 데 목적이 있다. 먼저, 여성주의 교육학과 자아초월심리학의 의식발달과정의 비교·분석을 통해 홀리스틱 교육의 의식발달과정을 미분화 상태인 전개인적 단계, 외적 지식 또는 개인적 느낌만을 강조하거나 의식과 신체를 분리하여 이해하는 편협적 단계, 몸과 마음, 이성과 정서가 하나 된 전인적 단계, 관계성이 확대되고 초월성을 획득하는 초월적 단계의 4단계로 추출하였 다. 물론 홀리스틱 교육활동의 최종 목표는 초개인적 의식 수준이지만, 나선형 발달 모형처럼 이전 상태를 다음 의식발달 수준의 중요한 한 부분으로 내포시켜야 함을 제안하였다. 그리고 의식발달을 촉진하기 위해서는 관계적이고 직관적인 앎이 필요하므로, 자신의 경험과 내면적 느낌이나 의식의 흐름을 성찰할 수 있는 개인적인 경험과 인생사에 기초한 자전적 문학읽기와 영화감상, 자전적 일기쓰기, 묵상이나 명상 등을 활용할 것을 강조하였다. 그리고 신뢰와 용납의 분위기, 관계성이 강조 되는 안정된 분위기, 억압되고 편협한 경험들을 털어 놓을 수 있는 분위기를 지닌 공동체가 필수적 이며, 배려의 아이콘이면서 영적 존재로서의 교사의 자질에 관심을 두어야 한다고 주장하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is that critically and complementary compare between consciousness development process of Blenky’s feminist pedagogy and Wilber’s transpersonal psychology highlighted non-dualistic knowing, suggest for make right choice about procedure and methods of holistic education. As a result, I find that of procedure holistic education is four stages what are called pre-personal, narrow-minded, well-rounded, trans-personal level. Pre-personal level is undivided condition and a similar condition as animal. Narrow-minded level is that choice only one of the objective knowledge or subjective feeling, and think separated thing about soul and body. Well-rounded level is that mind are in harmony with body, and reason are in balance with feeling. Trans-personal level is that integrate whole and immanent and relational expansion toward transcendence. Also I emphasis that although final purpose of consciousness development aspire toward transcendence, must had constructed four chain helix process approach that have intermediate and procedural purpose for pre-personal, narrow-minded, well-rounded level. And I explain that to facilitate consciousness development ought to provide appropriate activities. Holistic education must provide that reading literature and watching movie as autobiographically correlate to personal experiences and history, writing one s autobiography or diary, and meditation and contemplation for assist at introspect and contemplate about selfward feeling and think. I suggest that increase an atmosphere conducive to truthfully conversation, and must provide spiritual programs for teachers.
