영문 초록

Although numerous studies so far were focused on the positive virtues of red wine on human health, the real virtue of beer were not well studied. However, according to the recent reports, the antioxidants in beer prevented cadiovascular diseases from human and their effects were better or equivalent to that of red wine. Therefore, if consumed moderately, beer could be used as a multifunctional alcoholic beverage to prevent such diseases. Especially, beer contains plenty of vitamin B, minerals, various antioxidants, and fibers. Hence, beer should be closely evaluated with a new perspective on human health in modem society.
