영문 초록

Two major disadvantages with hypermedia systems are disorientation and cognitive overhead. Analyzing structures and complexity characteristics of hypermedia systems helps authors reduce these problems. A discussion of possible metrics such as system size, link structure, and readability is presented. Some of these metrics for two sample HyperCard systems are computed and compared to find out comnKm and different characteristics between the systems. Potential relationships among some of the measures are discussed.
