초등학생의 천식, 알레르기비염 및 아토피피부염 질환 발병 및 일상생활 장애 분석－용인시 초등학생을 대상으로

국문 초록

이 연구는 목적은 천식, 알레르기비염 및 아토피피부염 안심학교를 운영하는 용인시 A구 지역 초등학교 에서 학생들의 질환 유병률과 치료율 및 증상으로 인한 일상생활 장애 정도를 분석 및 파악하는데 있다. 분 석결과 평생 진단 유병률은 천식, 알레르기비염 및 아토피피부염 모두 저학년보다 고학년이 높았으며, 천식 으로 최근 12개월 증상 유병률은 저학년(3.2%)이 고학년(2.4%)보다 높았다. 아토피피부염으로 최근 12개월 치료율은 저학년(11.8%)이 고학년(10.3%) 보다 높았다. 증상으로 일상생활 장애 정도는 운동 유발성 천식 증상 경험이 저학년(29.1%)보다 고학년(47.6%)이 높았으며, 알레르기비염으로 인한 일상생활 장애의 중증도 도 고학년이 높았다. 질환으로 인한 학교 결석은 천식 결석률이 8.3%로 가장 높았다. 높은 결석률에 영향을 미치는 요인은 운동 유발성 천식 증상 경험이 있는 경우로 나타났다. 즉, 결석은 학업손실과 성인이 되어 사회생활에서 손실이 발생할 수 있기 때문에 학령초기에 관리해야 함을 시사한다. 이 연구는 학생단위의 추후 관리 및 정책 대안을 제시할 기초자료 제공에 연구의 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to analyze and identify the prevalence of the disease, the treatment rate, and the degree of daily living disability of the children in the elementary school which the management of asthma, allergic rhinitis and atopic dermatitis friendly school in Yong-in City. The prevalence of the diagnosis of asthma, allergic rhinitis and atopic dermatitis was higher in the upper grades than in the lower grades. The prevalence rate of symptoms in the last 12 months was higher in the lower grades (3.2%) than that of upper grades (2.4%). The rate of treatment in the last 12 months for atopic dermatitis was higher in the lower grade (11.8%) than in the upper grade (10.3%). The degree of daily living disability was higher in the upper grade (47.6%) than in the lower grades (29.1%), and the severity of daily life disability due to allergic rhinitis was also higher in the upper grades. School absences were the highest with 8.3% of asthma absences. Factors affecting high absences were found to be “experience with exercise-induced asthma symptoms”. It is suggested that absences should be managed in the early school-age children because of the loss of academic ability and the loss of social life after becoming and adult. This study has significance in providing basic data for management of students and policy alternatives.
