영문 초록

In 1971 AKINOSI re77r1e6 a new method of mandibular nerve block using an intraoral,closed-mouth approach. According to his report, this technique is simple to administer, well accepted by the patientand produce profound local anesthesia of inferior alveolar nerve, lingual neHe and long buccalnerve. Especially this method can easily be employed in cases in which the i aw opening is limited. Author feyiewed 105 Patients, over the 14 yell old, were divided into 2 group, 25 Patientsadministered the conventional inferior alveolar nerve block, as control group and 80, experimentalgroup was utilized the tuberosity approch technique. The following results were obtained: 1. Success rate of anesthesia in the conventional technique was 88.0% while in the tuberosityapproach technique showed 91.3%. 2. Rate of positive blood aspiration in the conventional technique was 12.07o, the tuberosityapproach technique was 8.7%. 3. The onset of anesthesia in the tuberosity approach technique was faster than in the con-ventional technique. 4. By using an intra oral, closed-mouth approach, lite tuberosity approach technique has manyadvantages than the conventional technique, and proved especially valuable in patient withlimited mouth opening.
