영문 초록

This is an investigation of a case of benign fibro-osseous lesion, consistent with Ossifying fibroma of mandible at birth. It is a very rare case and the prognosis of postoperation seems to bo fair therefore we report as follows. 1. The pt, 4 month-old male, has been suffering from swelling on mandibular symphysis and both mandibular body at birth. 2. Histopathologic findings showed the figures of benign fibro-osseous lesion, consistent with ossifying fibroma. 3. Roentgenographic features were well circumscribed and demarcated from surrounding bone. 4. The lesion was excised conservatively depending on anatomical form of mandible for facial esthetic and growth. 5. Oral functions with feeding were not significantly compromised except excessive salivation.
