SCAMPER를 활용한 교사의 발문이 유아의 창의성 증진에 미치는 효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 유아의 창의성 지도를 위한 교수법의 하나로 창의적 사고기법의 하나인 SCAMPER 기법을 활용하여 교사가 발문하는 것이 유아들의 창의성을 향상시키는데 효과적인 지를 확인하는데 목적을 두었다. 따라서 유아의 창의성, 즉 언어와 도형영역에서의 창의적 능력과 창의적 성격을 향상시키는 데 SCAMPER 활용 교사발문이 효과적인가? 라는 연구문제를 설정하여 이를 확인하였다. 연구결과, 첫째로 SCAMPER 기법을 활용한 교사발문은 유아의 언 어영역에서의 창의적 능력(융통성, 유창성) 향상에 효과가 있다는 것이 확인되었다. 즉, SCAMPER 기법은 확산적 발문을 통해 유아들이 문제에 대한 다양한 대답을 생각해 내게 하고 새로운 사고를 촉진시켜 융통성과 유창성을 향상시키는 데 도움을 준 것이라고 볼 수 있다. 둘째로 SCAMPER 기법을 활용한 교사의 발문은 유아의 도형영역 창의적 능력(연속성 및 연결 성, 완성도, 새 요소첨가, 비관습성 증가)에 효과적인 것으로 나타났다. 셋째로 SCAMPER 활용 교사발문은 유아의 창의적 성격 향상에도 효과가 있음이 확인되었다. 이는 본 연구에 사용된 발문이 유아가 문제를 해결함에 있어 도전을 즐거워하고, 자신의 생각대로 과제를 끝까지 해결하려는 성향을 갖도록 했음을 확인한 결과라고 할 수 있다. 이와 같은 본 연구의 결과로 유아의 창의성 지도를 위해서 교사는 SCAMPER 기법을 적절하게 활용하면서 발문하는 것이 도 움이 됨을 시사할 수 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this research was to identify effect of teacher‘s questioning utilizing the SCAMPER technique on improvement of young children’s creativity. Therefore, it has set research question of what kind of influence does teacher’s questioning utilizing the SCAMPER technique have on improvement of young children’s language creativity, figure creativity, and creative personality? to confirm this. First, teacher’s questioning utilizing the SCAMPER technique had positive effect on language creativity (flexibility, fluency) of young children. That is, the SCAMPER is a divergent questioning technique that makes children to think of various reponses to the questions and promotes new thinking and based on this, it has enhanced their flexibility and fluency. Second, teacher’s questioning utilizing the SCAMPER technique was effective for figure creativity (continuity and connectivity, completeness, add new elements, and non-habitual) of young children. This result showed that shaping activity done by a big group of children helped expand meaning of basic materials, made them to think of new elements, think of unique methods, and complete each idea. Third, teacher’s questioning utilizing the SCAMPER technique had positive effect on improvement of young children’s creative personality. The questions used in this research made children to enjoy the challenging they went through while solving the problems and to have tendency to finish the assignment as much as they can. To conclude, teacher’s questioning utilizing the SCAMPER technique is effective for improvement of young children’s creativity (language creativity, figure creativity, and creative personality). Therefore, this research implies that using the SCAMPER technique for promoting young children’s creativity is effective variable for improving their creativity.
